Queerty bites the dust

Which is too bad.  They actually seemed to be one of the few sites that tried to stay above the Gay, Inc. fray.

All week long Queerty.com claimed there were having some type of technical difficulty. Apparently, it was more than that judging from this e-mail that David Hauslib, founder, sent to to several Queerty staff and friends today:

      Agreed. While I had some issues with their content (everything was a joke or snarked up), they did seem to do their best to stay out of the fray that posts redundant content everywhere i.e., if you see it on one blog, you'll see it on 18 more with no original spin to it.

      They seem to have been blindsided by this shuttering, so that makes me feel bad for their staffers. I hope they took care of them as opposed to just shoving them out the door.
