Updated: Apple releases a violent “It Gets Better” video. Wait, what?

I know I promised I was taking the weekend off, but this one has to be publicized: (via NGBlog and Gay Daytime)

Although it’s been mirrored elsewhere, YOUTUBE has apparently deleted  Apple’s contribution to the It Get’s Better Project under the guise the video violated YouTube’s policy of depiction of harmful activities.

I’m no fan of the It Gets Better project, but c’mon.  Really? I’ll be very curious to see how Google/YouTube explains this one away.

Update:  As of this afternoon, the Apple video has returned.  No word on why it was yanked in the first place, though.
