Torched LGBT Flag to be Replaced – by a Bigger One
On the morning of April 14, 2010 the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center staff arrived to find a torched rainbow flag draped on the front of their building headquartered in New York
To show the vandals that the LGBT community will not be forced to recoil in fear, the torched flag will be replace by one that’s substantially larger.
The Center has partnered with a number of individuals and elected officials to unveil a new 20ft long banner that will drape the building. The unveiling will be tomorrow at 5pm.
