Your Sex Life – By the Numbers
I posed a question last week to my readers “How’s your sex life with your partner?” and here are the results:
- 19% said it was just awesome, and we’d die with envy if we knew the details.
- 13% said they have no complaints and they’re happy.
- 13% also said that it’s ok, as long as there’s nothing else to watch on TV that night.
- Half the respondents wanted further clarification on what a sex life really is. Theirs is apparently non-existent.
- 6% said flat out they have problems and they need help.
For some reason, people have a tough time talking about problems in their sex life, and it’s time to remove a bit of that stigma. My buddy Eric runs Easy Gay Life and has opened up their forum section. The subjects are out there and posting your thoughts, questions, comments can be done anonymously. You don’t have to come out of the shadows if you don’t want to.
While it might not be the magic bullet to kill your sexual problems, I will go so far as to say this: talking about it in an open environment can’t hurt.
Stop by his site. I’m a regular follower, and you can pretty much count on a response from me amongst some of the other followers.
Along those lines, I’ll have the new poll up momentarily. As to last week’s one on knowing your HIV status, stay tuned. I’m working on an HIV Owner’s Manual that I hope to have done soon.
